FOUR WAYS TO GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR

If you ask me, a life devoid with fun and pleasure spells the vertex of dullness and is tediously unvarying. In fact, the magnitude of being alive lies the essence of being happy from fun-generating activities such as tropical holidays, a long voyage to explore the mystery of world around you, eating favorite chocolate or romantic consortium with partner and others. However, true happiness truly sources from yourself. And when it comes to sense of humor, this is the most important and appreciative virtue to define the happiness of your life.

I concur, people have innate sense of humor. The only problem is, most really don't know how to express this naive quality. If you are one of them and therefore wish to hone up your sense of humor, read the following mentioned key things to gather some ideas.

1. Learn to smile

The first thing to begin with enhancing sense of humor is to force yourself to smile no matter it is fake or genuine. Learning how to smile is not a rocket science at all. Just appreciate anything pleasurable by smiling. You see kids playing in the ground? Smile at them. Is the sight of roses in your garden pleasurable? Response them with your smile. Have you done with your home work or work at office? Smile! Remember, that every time when you smile, you portray yourself as a rock inflexible against the fiendish waves of the sea. Similarly, you portray yourself as a brave one who is not yet subjugated himself/herself to life's demonic problems.

2. Make comedy your favorite indulgence

If you are an Indian and arduous fan of Bollywood movies, be a fan of some personalities whose mere appearance can bring forth a big chuckle on your face. Should I tell their names? Well, here's the list, Govinda, Johny Lever, Raju Shrivastav …....and the latest comedy icon, Omi Vaidya (remember 3 Idiot's silencer?).

There are many Hollywood icons including Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bin) who can help you hone up your sense of humor through their rib-tickling comedy.

Watching comedy movies may be not your taste, I agree with that. But then again, comedy movies have the gravity of appeal to generate smile. Apart from movies, you can indulge yourself to comedy shows, comedy-oriented serials and reading to funny quotes/jokes and shayari as well.

3. Did any silly, willy, nutty things in past? Remember and smile

This certainly requires you being positive to smile at what silly things you did in past. But then again, just remember those silly, willy and nutty things and smile at yourself. Certainly, that would lighten up your mood. Ever made someone April fool on you? Strolled over the dog's poop accidentally? Picked up a fight with someone all of no reason? Now, sit alone and remember those silly/willy things...and smile!

4. Keep the company of like-minded

Someone has rightly said that a person is recognized by the company he keeps. Being the company of people with good sense of humor is rewarding as it will help you learn how to hone up your own skill of being funny. As the wise saying goes, “You can observe a lot just by watching,” keeping a company of like-minded will render you a beneficial advantage of improving sense of humor.
